New Year’s Resolutions

New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year! It almost feels surreal that it’s 2020! Based off of 80’s cinema, we should all be flying around in our cars driven by robots. While we seem to be a ways off from that, there have been quite a lot of innovations in the beauty world. Maybe you aren’t the sort to make New Year’s Resolutions. If you aren’t, perhaps you should consider making one, one that will improve your life. If there’s a part of your beauty regime that you’ve been neglecting for awhile, consider doing something to help get back on track! We’ve got some ideas for you!

Skin

If your skin has been suffering recently, consider taking steps to improve in this area. Our last blog addressed the winter woes of skin care and tips on how to improve your skin. However, we didn’t address acne in that blog. Maybe you’ve been suffering from acne. We spoke about the benefits of CBD treatments. https://www.fuelsalonandspa.com/single-post/2019/07/06/How-does-CBD-oil-in-Skincare-work If you’re interested in looking more into these, please give us a call so we can set up an appointment with one of our amazing aestheticians.

Hair

Have you been neglecting your hair? Maybe you aren’t keeping up with the color treatments. Whatever it is, make 2020 the year for you! Set reminders on your phone to schedule your hair appointments. Invest in high quality hair care products to care for your hair at home. Be intentional with your at-home hair care. Give your hair a break when you can to keep it healthy. We recently talked about how often to wash your hair. If you missed it, check it out https://www.fuelsalonandspa.com/single-post/2019/11/18/how-often-should-i-wash-my-hair

Nails

If you’re one of the lucky few who has strong, healthy nails that grow at a very fast rate, well then, this part isn’t for you. But, for the rest of you, listen up. Nail care is more than just cutting your nails and filing them. First off, if your nails are weak and brittle, you may consider taking vitamins to help strengthen them. Additionally, to help with healthy cuticles, moisturizing is key. Opt for an ointment instead of a cream as this will help to get to the root of the issue. Once you have strong and healthy nails growing, treat yourself to get a nice manicure to show them off!

If you aren’t the type to make a New Year’s Resolution or maybe you’re the type that makes them and doesn’t keep them, that’s okay! We just think you’re amazing and you should take the opportunity to take care of yourself and starting a new year afresh, is a great time to start! Cheers to a New Year, we hope this year brings you health and happiness!
