Did you know it takes an average of 20-30 donated ponytails to make just 1 single wig for a cancer patient?!! Did you know that the average cost for one of these wigs is anywhere from $1800 to $4000?! Wigs for Kids is an amazing foundation providing wigs to children with cancer. Here’s the best part about them... no child pays for their wig!

Andrea Cupit, from our Highlands Ranch location, is donating her hair this month to a child in need. Her hope is to not only offer her hair donation, but also, raise the funds to support it.

You could be a major part in helping this foundation thrive! Her goal is $2500. Donating her hair is something she has always wanted to do, but never took the time or had the patience to do it. Last year she made the decision to go for it. To prepare for her hair donation, Andrea has minimized every part of her hair care routine using only the best shampoos and conditioners, high quality heat protectant and leave in sprays, and using little to no heat, including blow drying. She has gotten most of it to one length and her goal with hair donation is 13-15 inches!
