Julie is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). She graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy in Westminster in May of 2010 as well as being in good standing with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (AMBP). She has worked in several different work settings that have given her a greater understanding of the needs her clients can have.
Julie’s goal as a therapist is to assist and invite her clients to take an active part in their own health. She prefers to create a custom massage using a variety of modalities, including but not limited to Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Stretching, Trigger Point, and more to promote a pain-and-tension-relief massage for a deeper relaxation overall.
She is also skilled in reflexology and hot stone, and enjoys giving prenatal massage. She works the entire body and is sure to work any specific areas of concern with 360 degree mentality (working all around the entire area) as everything in the body is connected. She believes that massage creates a balancing of mind, body and spirit to relieve the body of tension and stress.
In her free time Julie enjoys playing with her daughters and spending time with her husband and puppies. A Colorado native, she enjoys the outdoors - camping and hiking in summer as well as skiing and snowshoeing in winter.
She is a firm believer that we all need to make time to care for ourselves, so we can care for the people we love.
